Delta Kappa Gamma RHO Chapter will offer a $300 grant-in-aid to a student who is in his or her junior or senior year of college studies and who is in the field of elementary or secondary education.  Interested applicants may fill out the following application and return it tby April 30, 2009, to the following address:

  1. A short paragraph telling about yourself.
  2. A short personal essay answering the question:  "How will a past experience enable you to become a better teacher in your field?"
  3. An official university transcript. 
  4. Letters of recommendation from a college instructor and a community member.
  5. Indicate any additional information that may be of assistance to the selection committee. 

 

 

Delta Kappa Gamma Rho Chapter will offer a scholarship in the amount of $300 to an area student who is in his or her junior or senior year of college studies and who is in the field of elementary or secondary education.  They must be a graduate of Browning, Conrad, Cut Bank, Shelby, Sunburst or Valier High School.  Any interested person may request an application from the local high school counselor’s office.  The application will be due by April 30, 2009 to the following address:

Delta Kappa Gamma Society International was established in 1929 to promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.  Established in 1957, Rho Chapter includes educators from Browning, Heart Butte, Conrad, Cut Bank, Shelby, Sunburst, and Valier.
