History of Tangled Roots

The Tangled Roots Genealogy Society was formed in 1986 by a group of
individuals who wanted to combine their efforts and resources to aid themselves
and others in their quest to uncover their past family history.
They were led by Lorraine Berezay who became their first president. The
group has purchased many books and items that are useful in their research. In
1988 a monthly newsletter was started and is sent out to all members around the
first week of each month.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, except for June,
July and August at the Family History Center in the L.D.S. Church in Cut Bank at
7 pm. In August we try to meet at an auuual picnic, at the City Park if available.
Work meetings are held in the afternoon on the fourth Thursday of each month.

however we would hope to recover any costs paid out for obtaining copies, postage
ect. Donations would be greatly appreciated.
You can request such service by writing us at "Post Office Box 1992,
