Outlook Express Email Setup
Setting up Outlook Express (Windows 9X/ME/2000/XP)

Double Click on Outlook Express
Click on Tools
Click on Accounts
Click on the Mail tab
Select New Select Mail
Click on Add
Click on Mail
Type in your Display Name (i.e. John Smith) and click Next
Type in your email address (i.e. jsmith@northerntel.net) and click
Next Incoming mail server is a POP3.
Incoming Mail Server: pop.northerntel.net
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.northerntel.net
Click On Next Your Account name should be the first part of your email address.
Type in your password and click on Next
Click on Finish to close the Wizard.
Click on Close to close the Internet Accounts window.
Click Send/Receive button to check mail.
Windows Mail Setup
Setting up Windows Mail (Microsoft Windows Vista)

Click on Accounts
Click on Add
Select Email Account and click Next
Type in your Display Name (i.e. John Smith) and click Next
Type in your email address (i.e. jsmith@northerntel.net) and click Next
Incoming mail server is a POP3.
Incoming Mail Server: pop.northerntel.net Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.northerntel.net
Click On Next
Your Account name should be the first part of your email address.
Type in your password making sure remember password is checked and click on Next
Click on Finish to close the Wizard.
Click on Close to close the Internet Accounts window.
Windows Mail will automatically download the new messages upon completion.
